Builder cleans are almost always a surface tidy rather than a real clean, so what is left behind is drywall dust inside cabinets and closets, grout haze on tile, adhesive residue on windows and appliances, and dust sitting in the vents. A pre-move-in deep clean deals with all of that while the house is still empty, which is far easier than working around furniture later.
