Yes, and it is a real issue here. Sunnyvale water is hard, and some of the larger properties on the edge of town still use well water, which leaves heavier mineral and iron staining on glass, chrome, stainless and toilet bowls. All-purpose spray will not remove it. We use a dedicated acidic descaler worked in and buffed dry, and for well-water staining we plan an extra pass on the first visit rather than pretending one wipe will fix it.
