Yes, and we plan for the difference. Gravel drives and county roads mean fine grit in entries and on hard floors, field dust and pollen settle on flat surfaces, and mud rooms take the worst of it. We vacuum hard floors before mopping so grit is lifted rather than smeared, dust with damp microfiber, and give entries more time than we would in a suburban home.
